Alan Goodman, President and CEO of Lawyers Investigating Service, Inc. is currently the Assistant National Director of this nationwide Legal Professional Investigators Association. Goodman served this past year as Assistant National Director after serving two terms as the Northeast Regional Director. He has been a NALI member since 1996 and has served on various committees and assignments. Goodman represents NALI at Conferences and Seminars throughout the country.

Goodman is currently the Vice-President of the MLPIA after having served as President, Vice-president and Secretary in the last five years. Goodman joined the association in its' infancy and continues this service to this date. Goodman has appeared before Maine Legislative Committee hearings, meetings and work-sessions. His advice is actively sought out by both state and national Investigators. He serves as a representative of the MLPIA at State, Regional and National Conferences and Seminars.

Formerly a Board member of the National Council of Investigative and Security Services, Goodman continues to serve the profession with his duties on NCISS's Legislative Committee. Goodman has represented both his state and national Private Investigative associations on Capitol Hill with Maine Senators Snowe and Collins and Maine's Representatives Michaud and Allen. Goodman continues to monitor legislation in Maine and the nation. Goodman is slated to a be in Washington, DC this fall.
